Dr Alicia St Leger will discuss aspects of Cork’s social and economic life in the eighteenth century.
Thursday 29 March 10 am to 12 (noon)
Tour in the Harry Clarke Room to look at the illustrations for Edgar Allan Poe’s gothic tales, and stained glass designs for the famous John Keats poem The Eve of St Agnes.
Participants are then invited to a workshop with artist Julie Forrester that will focus on Harry Clarke’s influences such as the Art Nouveau movement and artist Aubrey Beardsley.
