Guided tour  of the exhibition A Question of Attribution: The Arcadian Landscapes of Nathaniel Grogan and John Butts led by Dr Alicia St Leger, historian
Dr Alicia St Leger will discuss aspects of Cork’s social and economic life in the eighteenth century.

Thursday 29 March       10 am to 12 (noon)

Tour in the Harry Clarke Room to look at the illustrations for Edgar Allan Poe’s gothic tales, and stained glass designs for the famous John Keats poem The Eve of St Agnes.
Participants are then invited to a workshop with artist Julie Forrester that will focus on Harry Clarke’s influences such as the Art Nouveau movement and artist Aubrey Beardsley. This is a great opportunity to learn the techniques of Harry Clarke's work by using inks and watercolours. Be inspired by Clarke’s illustrations to create your own intricate designs.

Join Artist Julie Kelleher on a short and lively tour tracing the history of the gallery. This is a great opportunity to find out about Cork’s cultural heritage in conversation with an artist.
