
Drawing Up a Book

Thursdays 6.15–7.45pm
‘Drawing Up a Book’ will incorporate techniques such as papermaking, bookbinding and a variety of drawing approaches to make individual bookworks.
The programme will take an experimental approach to drawing, with reference to gallery works and grand masters such as Harry Clarke, Leonardo da Vinci, Sol le Witt and many more, with an emphasis on personal response.
Participants will use a variety of media and techniques to explore line, form, tone, scale and space, they will be encouraged to develop a sensitivity to markmaking, drawing from observation and stretching the imagination.
Places are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Places are secured on receipt of a fully completed application form and payment.
