Crawford Education is delighted to announce the continuation of our popular series of animation workshops.
The workshops are designed and facilitated by artist, Julie Forrester. Julie aims to use a variety of art and narrative processes. The workshops will involve painting, drawing, construction, modelling, fabric-work, storyboarding, scriptwriting, photography and sound recording.
The content of the animations will evolve out of themes explored during the making process and from storyboarding workshops, where children will work in pairs to animate their characters and develop scripts.
The children’s art summer workshops are open to children from 8 to 12 years old.
They will take place on the following dates:
Week 1:
Monday 11 July–Friday 15 July
Week 2:
Monday 8 August–Friday 12 August
Week 3:
Monday 15 August–Friday 19 August
Booking is essential as places are limited
Workshop Fee: €130.00 (All Materials Provided).
(Payment should be made in advance – booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of the full workshop fee). Number of places is limited – registration will be on a first come first serve basis.
Lunch: Children are required to bring their own. Lunch is supervised.
