Tactile tour for blind and visually impaired people
Thursday 13 December, 1–3pm
The tour is free of charge and will include light refreshments in the gallery library, no previous knowledge or particular art experience is necessary. We are delighted to collaborate with artist Clare Mc Laughlin to host this specially guided event, as part of Clare’s Seen - Unseen project.
Clare’s collaborative work explores the haptic, or sensory experience of art. In a predominately visual world, she investigates how people with a visual impairment can access art and what can be done to highlight and improve access.
Please contact Clare McLaughlin to book a place.
