Desmond’s new 16mm film is a meditative visual essay
which examines the intersections between science,
nature, art and architecture.

The seminar discussion will be chaired by Mary McCarthy
(director of National Sculpture Factory/chair of Culture
Ireland). The panel includes Aoife Desmond (artist),
Maureen O’Connor (UCC English professor), Paul Bolger
(ERI building manager/environmental scientist) & Merritt
Bucholz (of Bucholz & McEvoy architects of the ERI
building).
